I had a severe allergic reaction, and therefore wasn't able to enjoy the combination plate I had ordered. There's barely any chicken in the fingers or general tso's and saying they're heavily battered is an understatement. Because i ordered a two liter bottle of coke they felt we dont need the cans of soda and took them off the order. The second time it was very good so for right now I have to call it hit or miss. We don't eat real Chinese, we're more beef terryiaki, sesame chicken, pupu platter Chinese eaters.
. Even Chinese food is a real treat for us right now. With the quality ingredients in what we do eat I bet the authentic dishes are excellent too. Just ordered four lunch special from this place and they come with cans of soda each one. They get a star for fast delivery and decent lo mein.
We are most impressed with the quality of ingredients. I contacted cfpd and said they said this was not their first complaint about the same issue and department of health was also contacted. I am allergic to red dye, and I can usually eat orang chicken from most Chinese restaurants with no problem. They do have more authentic dishes but I can't say anything about them because I have no experience with them. The egg rolls are dry and not that tasty either. The first time we ordered it was only so-so.
The fine service is its well-known advantage. The fried rice is actually Spanish Rice and not even good at that. Google users are quite generous with Auli's Panda: it was granted 4 stars. Btw- fried food in sealed Tupperware and stapled Styrofoam means it's soggy by time it's delivered!!! We first heard of it when we got a menu in the mail, and I am glad we did. The beef and chicken are alwayss tender and never have gristle.
I called and spoke to the manager the next day, and there wasn't anything he was willing to do to rectify the situation. . The prices are very good and the portions are great. Food delivery is a big plus of this restaurant. The only negative is the fried rice. Trying nicely cooked chicken is what a number of guests recommend. The crab rangoon are cream cheese in oily pockets.
I will not be patronizing them anymore. That said, for common Americanized Chinese food its a good place to get a good meal at a good value. Prices are attractive, and the menu is worth every penny. Explore the world of Chinese cuisine here. .
They also have many combine meals, which the other new place nearby doesn't have and is important to us. Do not order from this place at all. The sesame chicken and hot and spicy beef are my favorites and the wife loves the fried shrimp. That said, we really like this place. Used to order from her all the time, until I was walking my daughter by the business and happened to see a fence in the back of the restaurant with dogs barking. . .
